We are happy to provide a range of services to suit your requirements to simple consulting on an ad hoc basis as and when required to help your organisation fill export knowledge gaps to a full international trade service where we take your product and handle everything related to its export to foreign markets, including in various circumstances connecting you to potential buyers in the target export markets. Further details of each level of service is set out below.

General Consulting

For those who wish to run their own international trade operations we offer a consulting service that allows you to seek our advice in relation to any aspect of the import/export process. Whether it be a single inquiry that you cant otherwise find the answer to, or a series of instructional guides to get your fledgling import/export operation up and running, we pride ourselves on giving uncomplicated, concise and accurate advice. Our consulting services are charged on a time basis, with full disclosure of the charge rate, expected overall time cost and terms of our engagement upfront and at the beginning of each relevant retainer.

Feasibility Assessment

Not sure if a product can be exported or imported? Or whether it is commercially viable after taking into account freight, customs/duties, excise, quarantine or other costs or the time to make the product available for sale in the importing country? No problem, we welcome any queries regarding whether it is feasible to import/export a product into a particular country, what the likely added on costs are, what processes are involved (and the time needed for the same) and any other information you need to determine whether the landed cost of a product is competitive enough versus existing products offered for sale in the imported country – so as to allow you to properly assess any decision as to committing to cross border trade with that product.

Like our general consulting services, feasibility analysis is charged on a time cost basis.

Referral Services

Know what needs to be done but not sure who to use? Often one of the hardest aspects of doing business in another country is finding a trusted partner to help you achieve your import/export requirements. Sometimes the “big” guys are too expensive or unwieldy but you don’t know who else to turn to. With our experience we are happy to provide referrals to those businesses in your import/export destination that may satisfy your needs – and do so in a cost efficient manner. Where we are likely to receive any benefit from such a referral, we will openly disclose so you can make a completely informed decision regarding who you use.

Complete International Trade Solutions

Think that your product could sell overseas, or alternatively, have you come across a product you think might sell well at a competitive price in a particular country? But you don’t wish to devote precious time or resources to pursuing the same?

In selected cases we offer a complete international trade package where we organise all steps of the import/export of the relevant products. In some situations we may even be able to  simply buy from you at agreed prices and taking on full risk of ownership/export.

The terms of our engagements will vary on a case by case basis but in all situations we ensure that any arrangement is fully documented and sets out what you can expect and what you need to do. Our ultimate goal is where we are able to engage with you to import/export suitable products it is done so with a suitable profit/return to all parties involved.
